DanzArts Presents – “Drums & Strings”

Influences of Mexico, Spain, and Peru

Drums & Strings will feature performances by DanzArts two professional dance companies: Sabor Mexico Theatrical Company and Esencia Flamenca, lead by Artistic Director Patricia Astorga. This year our guest artists are exhibiting Afro-Peruvian Dances choreographed by Tania Araoz Corro. This production will illuminate the common artistic and cultural traditions of Mexico, Spain, & Peru through music and dance, as well as creative storytelling unique to each country. With instrumental musicians, dancers and percussion artists participating this project will provide a vibrant real-time exchange.
