Children’s Folklorico Beginners 1A
(5 year olds – no experience)

Location: Dorothea Laub Dance Place, Studio 103, 2650 Truxtun Road, San Diego 92106
Ages 5 and up. No experience required. Introduction to Ballet Folkorico. Basic footwork and skirt work will be introduced. Opportunities to perform for the public may be available.

Children’s Folklorico Beginner 1B
(5 year olds – 1 year experience)

Introduction to Ballet Folkórico. Students will learn basic foot work, skirt work and technique while also working on repertoire to perform in public during our seasonal recitals.

Children’s Folklorico Beginner 2
(7 year olds)

Location: The Dance Place, Studio 103 (Downstairs) – 2650 Truxtun Rd, San Diego, CA 92106
Students have gone through basic Folkórico introduction. This class gives the opportunity to gain more performance exposure at community/private events. They also continue to build on repertoire and technique.

Intermediate

Students have a minimum of 2+ years of folkorico experience and are challenged to step out of their comfort zones to experience new movements and styles from different regions of Mexico.

Children’s Flamenco
